In 1996 Tom was recruited by Jackson Hole Realty where he also joined as a partner and shareholder. - Tom was named Realtor of the Year in 2011 by the Teton County Board of Realtors.
Among his landmark sales are the listing and sale of the 1,500 acre BAR BC Ranch, listed at $112 million (the highest price paid for a property in Teton County); the 1,250 acre Spring Gulch Ranch, listed at $75 million; and over $230 million in re-sales at the Bar BC and the Bar B Bar Ranches in Jackson Hole.
Tom enjoys developing property and participating in joint ventures with many of his clients and friends. In particular, Tom’s interest has focused towards commercial properties in Jackson. Most recently Tom participated in the Smiths/Eagle Village project south of the town of Jackson, where a mixed use of residential and commercial were built and sold. Tom was involved in the design and build aspects of speculative homes in the Willowbrook Subdivision as well as Indian Springs Ranch Subdivision. These homes sold in November 2007 and January 2010, respectively.
Dedicated to the Jackson Hole community
Tom and his wife Andrea have two children, Ashley and Alicia. Ashley graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she obtained a degree in International Business and Spanish. She works as an e-commerce marketing manager for the largest online eyewear retail store and is married to Mike DiPrisco. Mike graduated from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is now a Captain flying for the Air Force stationed out of McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. Alicia is in 10th grade at the Jackson Hole High School, where she is participating in the skiing and swimming teams.
The Evans clan spends a great deal of time in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park camping, fishing and rejuvenating their love for the valley. Tom occasionally will guide big game hunters into Teton Wilderness on hunting and fishing trips for elk, deer, moose and Big Horn sheep. “Fishing and pack trips into the backcountry remind me of why I live here. I call it my paid vacation. No telephones, and away from the office where grizzly bears are abundant and the occasional wolf pack or mountain lion will get your heart rate up. I love to fish and I spend a lot of time in the summer on Jackson, Yellowstone and Fremont lakes.”
